What I do.

Do you feel like your business’ brand is outdated online?

Do you feel like your business is suffering or could be doing better if you could communicate your identity?

You know you need to make changes but you don’t know where to start.

You’ve heard it before, people buy from brands, not from companies that merely make product.

Hey, I’m Gary Bain Granger Jr., and I help business owners like you develop your online brand identity all while building a loyal audience that will be ambassadors for your business. Isn’t that what we all want - strong word of mouth? I know you want to be a business with your own flavor online, your own personality, but your hands are full, and you just can’t spend the time needed that brand building requires.

I’ve helped new restaurant owners with undeveloped identities turn themselves into a hot spot on the countryside of town. Their guests have developed a strong emotional connection and actively seek out to tell others about them. I’ve helped another owner struggling with a “night life” image they did not want to later turn themselves into a family-oriented establishment as they originally intended to be. They are now drawing in the exact customers they want.

I’m here to help you make identity shifts with your business by building powerful relationships with your customers.

I have been a professional photographer and mass communications specialist for over 20 years developing worldwide strategic communication campaigns for military leadership in Washington D.C. to creating visually hunger stimulating images in restaurant menus and online content.

What’s my story?

In 2000, I had a common dream as an 18-year-old photographer. I wanted to travel the world and shoot. The only way I was going to do that was to enlist right out of high school into the US Navy as I wanted to start immediately. At the time, my dad was in the Navy for what felt like my whole life, so joining the Navy made sense to me. When I found out you could be a photographer in the service, I immediately decided I was going to seek out orders overseas and get started on my dream career right out the door.

My media skillset evolved over time with the needs of the Navy and industry changes. I went into service solely a photographer and left 20 years later as a mass communications specialist harboring skills in videography, graphic design, and journalism. Even during my tenure in service, I was curious what it was like in the industry outside the Navy. I had applied to college courses in marketing, began a photography business, and sought out mentorship from industry leaders.

I started the photography business covering events and in the last three years it has evolved into a commercial and food photography business with proven results in digital media consulting to push the photos where customers are at. I must attribute that evolution to my wife Stacy, who worked as a baker and front of the house manager for several restaurants across the country. She was my “in.”

Nearly every one of your customers has a large screen smart phone which is why I’m so keen on powerful imagery. Several studies have shown that you as a business owner have a mere few seconds to grab attention in a social media post. I’m here for it and I dwell in the midst of those few seconds.
